Lakes Monitoring Working Group Workshop

Lakes Monitoring Working Group Workshop

Posted: Mar 29, 2026

Registration is now open for the in-person Lakes Monitoring Working Group workshop. The workshop will be held at the Spruce City Wildlife Association in Prince George on April 29th.

At the workshop we will collectively review the Large Lakes Monitoring Strategy, hear updates from partners on monitoring plan implementation and results, discuss training opportunities and take a deep dive into current data collection and management in the Nechako Watershed. In the afternoon we will be offering, in partnership with Living Lakes Canada, a three-hour data management training session, utilizing a combination of available data sets and tools.

For more information about the workshop or of how to get involved in the NWR’s Lakes Monitoring Working Group, please email nwrcoordinator@gmail.com.
